The Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources and Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi constituency, Hon. Yusif Sulemana has visited Damongo Senior High School in Accra and commended the team that participated in this year's Renewable Energy Challenge finals in Accra.
The Deputy Minister presented cash donations and pledged to support the tertiary education of two contestants who have completed their WASSCE exams, as well as providing a stipend of GHS 2,000.00 per semester to the third contestant, a form two student.
He also encouraged the students to believe in themselves, because himself, an old student of the Damongo Senior High School, today is an MP and minister of state.
This year’s competition was themed— “Sustainable energy for a healthier future”, had 6 schools qualifying for the finals held at the Accra international conference centre on Tuesday 7th October,2025.
