Member of parliament for the Damongo constituency Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor has urged the people of the Damongo Constituency to do away with former member of parliament for the Damongo constituency and NDC Parliamentary candidate for the 2024 elections,Hon. Adam Mutawakilu a.k.a Garlus since he is tired and expired.
Addressing students of the Damongo Nursing and Midwifery Training School on Sunday 10th November,2024 after presenting a brand new 50 seater bus to the school, the Damongo MP mentioned the various development projects including classroom blocks, hostels computers among others he has been able to put together for the school within this short time he has become the member of parliament for the Damongo constituency.
He indicated further that the former MP should eat back his words after meeting the students of the school some few weeks ago and daring him to give the school the bus he promised them sometime ago.
Lawyer Jinapor further advised the Damongo constituency NDC to look for upcoming politicians to face those the NPP is grooming and do away with "expired" individuals like the former MP.
The principal of the Damongo Nurses Training College, Hajia Rabiatu Iddris praised the Damongo Constituency member of parliament for all that he has been doing for the school.
She said the transportation and accommodation has been a major challenge for the school and that has been solved by the MP.
Earlier, the MP had met with teachers in the Constituency and presented a seed capital Ghc100000 for the establishment of the Damongo Constituency teachers welfare. He also promised a laptop each for every teacher in the Constituency.
