Operationalize Completed Busunu Senior High School Project-Abu Jinapor Appeals To Government

The Member of Parliament for the Damongo Constituency, Samuel Abu Jinapor, has called on the government to operationalize the Busunu Senior High School, which he facilitated in building for the Busunu community in the Damongo Municipality of the Savannah Region.

Addressing the chiefs and people of the Busunu traditional area during the 2025 annual Damba festival on Sunday, 14th September 2025, the Damongo MP and Ranking Member for the Parliamentary Select Committee on Foreign Affairs indicated that the Busunu Senior High School is the second Senior High School in the region that he has facilitated in building for the people of the Damongo Constituency and the region as a whole.

According to him, the Larabanga Senior High School, which has begun admitting students, was built through his initiative, and the Busunu Project is also complete and ready for use.

Additionally, Hon Jinapor stated that he will share his limited financial resources with his constituents, including women, to sustain his women's empowerment program.

He sought continued prayers for the government and its appointees, pointing out that development is an ongoing process intended to better the lives of the constituency's population and beyond.

In his address, Hon. Yakubu Castro, the Municipal Chief Executive for West Gonja, highlighted the importance of education for the area's youth, urging them to avoid drug abuse, which has become a pressing concern. He indicated that various development projects are forthcoming, promising that unemployment issues will soon be a thing of the past.
